Southwest Florida residents are exceedingly generous and rise to the occasion. Our Bahamian neighbors suffered devastating losses from Hurricane Dorian.
We partnered with Stilwell Enterprises to organize a drop-off site for donations. In under a day, individuals and businesses were coming to our Fort Myers and Naples campuses to donate desperately needed items: water, diapers, medical supplies, blankets, pet food and toiletries.
On Sept. 11 our paramedic and ESL students, along with faculty and staff, organized and packed the donations. What better way to honor the nearly 3,000 American lives lost on 9/11 than working together to help others?
