1) It is all about the relationships. Get to know what someone cares about and why to deepen your relationship.
2) Listen to what matters to the donor and ensure they are pleased with the outcome.
3) Be passionate about what you are raising money for; it is vital to be passionate about what you are doing.
Lee also makes it a habit to under-promise and over-deliver, a strategy that rarely disappoints.
